Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and document network architecture
- Research, develop and evaluate, recommend and integrate new network technologies
- Develop, update and maintain network documentation
- Lead, participate and collaborate with cross functional teams from architecture, other engineering groups, security, infrastructure, and vendors
- Provide peer review on all changes and designs
- Lead and drive all network designs to meet operational support requirements
- Tier 4 support for critical escalations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or 8+ years of experience managing complex network environment using Cisco and cloud technologies.
- Network tools and automation experience.
- Experience managing complex network environment: SD-WAN, cloud firewall, on-prem firewall, network access control, wireless environments, and AWS networking.
- Certificates, please list in resume: CCNA required, CCNP preferred (or equivalent knowledge/experience) AWS Solutions Architect (or equivalent knowledge/experience).
- Network Skills: Cisco CLI for LAN, and wireless, Cisco Campus Switching, Cisco Data Center Switching, Cisco Wireless, Cisco ISE, Fortinet Firewall, SilverPeak SD-WAN, AWS Networking, Zscaler NextGen cloud firewall, Python, Ansible
