About the role

  • Build strong relationships with HCPs, HCOs, and key stakeholders across the treatment pathway (e.g., nurses, pharmacists, payers, policy makers).
  • Communicate the value of Ascendis Pharma, TransCon technology, and products to defined target groups.
  • Drive regional and hospital market access efforts, including securing approvals and formulary inclusion
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans based on regional and local insights.
  • Lead initiatives to improve patient care, including organizing events and roundtables.
  • Collaborate effectively with MSLs and cross-functional teams (Market Access, Medical, Marketing, etc.).
  • Monitor performance, report insights, and contribute to strategy development.
  • Ensure all activities comply with Spanish promotional regulations and company values.

Requirements

  • University degree in scientific or business/commercial field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical sector in sales, marketing, and/or market access roles, preferably with significant experience in rare disease and/or endocrinology and/or oncology
  • Direct regional market access experience and existing contacts considered a major advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of key regional and hospital groups, decision-makers, and stakeholders, their networks and decision-making processes, and current relevant policies; existing relationships with endocrinologists a plus
