About the role

  • As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing the ecommerce business of one or multiple brands across all ecommerce platforms in Malaysia.
  • Create the ecommerce strategy and annual plans for your brands and take ownership of their business like it is yours.
  • Negotiate with brand and platform stakeholders to maximize the attractiveness of propositions for consumers and exposure for the brand, in order to grow the business.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Conduct monthly, weekly and post mortem business reviews to assess account performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive account growth.
  • Develop and execute promotional plans in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key account clients. Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and platform partners, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure cohesive account management.

Requirements

  • Min 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Ecommerce, ideally with a platform (Lazada / Shopee), with another enabler, or with a brand or distributor
  • Commercial performance-driven mindset, flexible & collaborative attitude, looking to make an impact and thriving in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship and communication, listening and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop a brand ecommerce strategy and translate this into annual & monthly activation plans
  • Experience in developing digital / ecommerce campaign plans
  • Analytical skills to analyze data and make performance improvement suggestions
  • Project management experience
  • Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
