About the role
- Analista Fiscal Jr responsible for fiscal analysis and compliance at Hesselbach Company. Supporting clients with tax legislation and ensuring correct fiscal records and operations.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the analysis and study of tax legislation to provide better guidance to the company and related departments.
- Analyze fiscal operations and verify that recorded entries are accurate and filed within required deadlines.
- Ensure the company has the necessary tax reference materials and, when needed, liaise with public agencies to resolve issues arising from the application of new laws.
- Review and reconcile incoming and outgoing invoices for goods, services, and imports.
- Verify correct breakdown and calculation of taxes (PIS, COFINS, IPI, ICMS, among others).
- Issue payment guides or compensation documents for tax liabilities.
- Perform monthly tax reconciliations and prepare electronic files for tax authority control.
- Organize and maintain the filing of tax documents to support inspections and audits.
- Support the registration and/or closure of branches with public agencies.
- Issue electronic invoices (Notas Fiscais Eletrônicas) based on information received from clients.
- Generate PINs and support compliance with federal, state, and municipal ancillary tax obligations.
- Use ERP systems to manage and post tax activities.
- Collaborate with the accounting department in issuing tax reports and documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or related fields.
- Proven experience in the tax/fiscal area.
- Knowledge of current tax legislation.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and tax accounting/filing tools.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Team player.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
