About the role

  • As a Junior Project Manager (m/f/d), you plan and oversee creative live experiences for national and international clients — from intimate, small-scale events to large productions.
  • Implementer/Producer: You take creative event concepts and lead their implementation, ensuring unique events and satisfied clients.
  • Client advisor: You build and nurture relationships with clients in your projects, provide tailored advice, and lead project meetings.
  • Organizational talent: You coordinate and manage all service providers involved in your events and plan the resource allocation for your project teams.
  • Commercial responsibility: You prepare cost estimates for new proposals, monitor budgets and handle project accounting — including reporting and documentation.
  • Idea driver: You continuously develop our live, online and hybrid formats and contribute to cross-team projects.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally, initial professional experience in event management, including contract negotiations, pitches and budgeting
  • Confident command of German and English (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Team-oriented, structured working style, advisory, negotiation and problem-solving skills, and business acumen
  • Willingness and enjoyment of travel

Benefits

  • Good reasons to work with us:
  • Flat hierarchies and respectful leadership: Appreciative management and transparent decision-making — we value what you can do, not your job title.
  • Truly flexible working: No core working hours, home office options and, in many roles, location-independent work — for more freedom in your job.
  • Learning & development that’s enjoyable: Learning Weeks with top speakers, AI courses on our Switch platform, or LinkedIn training including a paid photoshoot — we want to support your growth.
  • Culture that connects: Table football evenings, team challenges, our large annual Celebrate event and regular feel-good activities — for stronger community and team spirit.
  • International projects with a wow factor: Our talents work on exciting assignments — from Vienna to Madrid to Namibia — with constantly new and stimulating challenges.
  • Mental health & wellbeing in focus: Through OpenUp we provide access to conversations with psychologists, coaching and meditation sessions — because your mental health matters to us.
  • Sustainability with real impact: Our CSR team actively engages in clean-up initiatives, donation projects, our MCI book club and more — sustainable action is a commitment, not a trend.
  • Equality as standard: We offer fair salary bands and no gender pay gap — equal opportunities and diversity are part of our everyday practice.
  • An office that feels like home: Modern technology, cozy seating areas, phone booths and a swing seat — we provide everything to help you reach your full potential.
  • And yes: your furry friend is welcome too!
  • More than just a salary: 30 days of vacation for full-time employees, paid special leave, company bike leasing (JobRad), subsidy for the Deutschlandticket — so you get the support you need.
  • Family-friendliness in practice: We prioritize family — whether parental leave, childcare subsidies or short-term leave — we support you so you can be there for your family without career compromises.
  • Networking and mentoring for young professionals: We offer mentoring programs and regular peer meetups — for a strong career start and valuable connections.
