About the role

  • Plan and schedule daily fuel distribution according to customer demand and fleet availability.
  • Maintain active communication with carriers and the operations team.
  • Implement service levers to improve customer efficiency and satisfaction.
  • Develop tools to enhance delivery service and productivity.
  • Ensure proper fleet sizing: analyze daily reported availability and follow up with carriers on deviations such as maintenance, divergent loading schedules, or improper driver rest-day (DSR) entries.
  • Monthly, compare actual needs versus sales forecasts, analyze variation patterns, and align with the internal transport team on the optimal fleet size for upcoming demand.
  • Maintain active communication with carriers and the operations team, promptly report schedule dispatches, and notify about any updates or strategy changes to ensure the plan is executed according to customers' needs and priorities.
  • Communicate failures, deviations, or operational issues—such as vehicle unavailability, delivery delays, emergency service requests, order returns, truck detention, or re-dispatching orders to other customers with similar product needs—ensuring coordination with all relevant areas to resolve the issue and meet the customer’s requested service level.
  • Handle customer incidents together with the customer relations team when service is lacking or fails; provide detailed analyses within the OtC team's agreed SLA, and communicate findings to involved areas and managers. Develop action plans to prevent recurring errors that negatively affect customer satisfaction (NPS).
  • In collaboration with peer teams, implement logistics levers such as route linearization, calendarization/scheduling, increased drops, time-slot classifications, and customer inventory control to raise service levels, fleet productivity and efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
  • Support the development of tools to analyze delivery punctuality and productivity, as well as systems that optimize scheduling or accelerate identification of routes with potential delays, enabling faster corrective actions and reversal of negative outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience: Commercial operations, Transportation, Route planning, Scheduling
  • Soft skills: Communication, Proactivity, Organization, Time Management
  • Automation and scripting: VBA/Python
  • Technical skills: Office Suite + Power BI, Agile methodologies, Transport Management Systems (TMS)
  • Education: Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Economics or related fields.
