About the role
- Developing and maintaining Python automations, APIs, and ETL pipelines for operational processes at CIAL Dun & Bradstreet, a SaaS company. Ensuring compliance and quality in data handling and web scraping solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python automations for operational and compliance processes.
- Design and evolve APIs and backend services, preferably using FastAPI.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines for ingestion and processing of structured and unstructured data.
- Develop and maintain web scraping and crawling solutions, adhering to best practices for quality, stability, and compliance.
- Support initiatives to extract and process data from documents and external sources, collaborating with internal teams.
- Work from requirements gathering through solution delivery, ensuring alignment with SLAs and business expectations.
- Keep technical and operational documentation up to date, acting as the knowledge custodian for the processes under your responsibility.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Python for automation, data tasks, and APIs.
- Experience with FastAPI (or similar API frameworks).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
- Experience with ETL and data processing.
- Experience with web scraping (Python libraries).
- Basic knowledge of Linux (command line, running scripts, reading logs).
- Familiarity with source control (Git).
- Ability to document processes and technical solutions clearly.
