About the role

  • Drive global IT transformation through infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and application rollouts
  • Coordinate project plans and manage cross-functional activities to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards
  • Act as a bridge between business areas and Intersnack IT, collaborating with business teams to define requirements and ensure documentation
  • Manage IT-related deliverables such as infrastructure enhancements, device rollouts, user access, system configurations, and deployments
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams, procurement, and vendors to plan resources and align project timelines
  • Manage Rollout Managers and third-party vendors involved in infrastructure delivery
  • Forecast IT activities to improve resource allocation and project planning
  • Apply and help improve standard project management processes and tools; manage change and support stakeholders through ambiguity
  • Take full ownership of assigned projects from initiation to closure; may require travel to Intersnack locations up to 30–40%

Requirements

  • Several years of experience managing IT projects, ideally in ERP environments or with a focus on infrastructure, cloud, or application rollouts
  • Strong technical knowledge in migrating servers and applications to modern platforms
  • Familiarity with application delivery, middleware, cloud, data centres, end-user devices, and access management
  • Experience working across multiple locations and managing teams in different phases of projects
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate clearly at all levels
  • Structured, hands-on approach with a focus on results and continuous improvement
  • Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or APM PPQ)
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Project; confident presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex collaborative, matrix environment with virtual teams in a multi-cultural / geographically diverse environment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with capacity for mature judgment in challenging situations
  • Strong command of spoken and written English; knowledge of German is a plus
  • Valid work and residence permit required for non-EU applicants
