Define, deploy and/or lead systems/applications and/or technical infrastructure operations to support clients and applications
Identify, recommend, source, negotiate and implement improvements/solutions to enhance customer experience, availability, and/or reduce cost
Influence product direction, foresee issues and gaps, identify solutions
Manage complex application deployment in load balanced service-oriented environment
Test, debug, and performance analyze and document environment components
Research/analyze business requirements to evaluate and recommend optimal solutions
Develop and configure environments from conceptualization through stabilization using various platforms
Troubleshoot initial failures, coordinate resolution efforts and communicate with appropriate members
Work with Architects to ensure environment modifications interact appropriately
Develop and recommend technical strategies and solutions to maintain and/or expand service levels
Collaborate with business leaders, IT professionals, vendors / outsourced partners
Lead/contribute to project management processes conduct pre and post implementation reviews
Integrate technical solutions with the business environment, ensuring seamless delivery
Ensure appropriate security levels and compliance with DRP/BRP
Maintain external profile, contribute to leading edge initiatives
Act as an expert resource providing insight and recommendations based on industry and technology trends
Requirements
Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
Graduate degree, preferred
7+ years relevant experience
Ability to work effectively as a team and support others
Prior experience with systems/application operations, technical infrastructure operations, and complex application deployment
Experience with troubleshooting, testing, debugging, and performance analysis of environment components
Experience in collaborating with business leaders, IT professionals, vendors/outsourced partners
Knowledge of security, disaster recovery plans, production capacity guidelines, and compliance
Experience in project management processes, pre and post implementation reviews
Subject matter expertise across multiple operational support areas
Experience monitoring, coaching/educating IT professionals
