Provide direct support to end users in the efficient and accurate utilization of IS Imaging Informatics applications and the electronic medical record as it relates to imaging.
Build, test and validate new functionality and perform custom configuration activities.
Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, and report details; recognize opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Collaborate with senior management to plan, implement and evaluate systems and services; identify and coordinate system updates, changes and enhancements.
Facilitate installation and implementation of hardware equipment between IT, patient care, and business teams.
Prepare charts and diagrams for problem analysis and submit recommendations for solutions; manage and coordinate team tasks.
Maintain issue lists, documentation, meeting minutes, agendas, and weekly status reports to Leadership.
Provide site-specific on-call support and first-line support to end users; support Teleradiology program including scoping, implementation, and daily management.
Participate in evaluation, testing and validation of new releases and upgrades; employ change management methods and may lead multi-team projects.
Requirements
Preferred Bachelor's Degree or an Associate's Degree with equivalent experience required.
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience required.
Strong software and application knowledge.
Prior clinical and electronic medical record experience preferred.
Applications specific certifications as required; Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) preferred.
Project Management experience preferred.
Ability to achieve and maintain application specific vendor certifications.
Ability to provide on-site presence at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware for first 90 days and ongoing 2-3 days per week.
