About the role
- Engineering analyst managing construction projects and collaborating with stakeholders at Localiza&Co. Involved in prioritizing projects and ensuring technical compliance with project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the portfolio of engineering/construction projects;
- Support the definition of project priorities and provide clarity on related impacts;
- Prepare technical analyses and propose solutions appropriate to the scope and scale of the intervention/construction;
- Identify issues and suggest improvements;
- Engage, align and communicate with key project stakeholders, removing potential barriers to the speed and efficiency of expansion projects;
- Perform critical review and coordination/compatibility analysis of project designs;
- Know the main processes, critique them and pursue best practices;
- Plan and monitor processes with discipline and efficiency;
- Conduct technical evaluations of properties and land for new store implementation;
- Monitor CapEx and OpEx for the construction portfolio;
- Prepare scopes of work for contracting services to implement new stores;
- Survey and request materials, furniture and equipment required for store rollout;
- Manage and monitor multiple simultaneous construction projects at a national level.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed, preferably in Civil Engineering;
- Experience with small- and large-scale construction projects;
- Experience reading and interpreting executive/construction drawings;
- Experience in Project and Process Management;
- Experience in Strategic Planning;
- Knowledge of agile methodologies;
- Experience preparing executive-level presentations;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Availability to travel;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD;
- Experience managing retail construction projects is a plus.
