About the role
- HR Director overseeing humanitarian projects at Médecins du Monde. Responsible for global HR strategy and supporting organizational transformation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall HR policy and HR action plan in alignment with the association's strategy
- Supervise and support the evolution of the organizational model
- Lead HR projects and monitor their execution
- Design and monitor the annual payroll budget
- Conduct social dialogue and negotiate with employee representative bodies
- Manage, coach and support a multidisciplinary team
- Advise and support managers on HR responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and facilitate thematic working groups
- Represent Médecins du Monde (MdM) with social and institutional partners
- Ensure HR practices comply with legal requirements and the association's values
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or Labor/Employment Law
- Significant HR experience (10+ years), including management experience
- Strong knowledge of labor/employment law, employee/industrial relations and HR management
- Proven experience in social dialogue and collective bargaining
- Ideally experienced in the humanitarian or nonprofit sector, and/or field operations
- Demonstrates leadership, diplomacy, innovation and a strong team-oriented mindset
- Fluency in French and English (Spanish or Arabic is a plus)
- Comfortable with HRIS tools and HR management systems

- Gross monthly salary: €6,341
- Permanent contract (CDI), available as soon as possible
- Remote work arrangement: up to 110 days per year (minimum on-site presence 5 days/month)
- 13th month salary (paid in two installments after 6 months of service)
