Responsibilities
Supports the Payroll & Benefits Manager in administering employee leave programs, unemployment claims, and job accommodations.
Ensures compliance with federal, state and company policies.
Manages all types of employee leaves (FMLA, ADA, personal, medical, etc.).
Responds to unemployment claims and coordinates with state agencies.
Facilitates the interactive process for ADA accommodations.
Serves as backup for payroll processing during absences or peak periods.
Manages OSHA reporting and ensures compliance with federal and state safety regulations.
Prepares and maintains HR reports relative to leave, safety and compliance.
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, payroll, leaves and compliance.
Familiarity of FMLA, ADA, OSHA and unemployment regulations.
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
