About the role

  • Leading the sales department in a hybrid role while managing key accounts and sales strategies in Germany. Focus on team development and strategic market expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Overall functional and disciplinary responsibility for the Sales department (field sales and inside sales)
  • Management of top key accounts (e.g., OEMs)
  • Responsibility for developing and implementing the sales strategy (existing and new-customer business, expansion into new markets) and sales planning
  • Further development of sales processes
  • Responsibility for sales projects and participation in projects with a sales focus
  • Professional development and motivation of team members

Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration
  • At least 10 years of professional experience
  • Several years of experience as a Head of Sales, ideally in a company with a technically oriented sales organization
  • High willingness to travel, strong commitment, and assertiveness
  • Excellent technical understanding; ideally experience in mechanical drive technology
  • Strong negotiation skills when interacting with OEMs and industrial customers
  • Excellent knowledge of contract law and pricing strategy
  • German and English at negotiation/business level; knowledge of an additional foreign language is a plus
