About the role
- Primary contact for Global Freight Forwarders
- Communicate in a pro-active, informative, and collaborative manner
- Manage Freight Forwarder Portals to identify shipments at risk
- Relationship building with Contract Manufacturers, 3PL warehouses, Internal Teams, Freight Forwarders
- Manage Global Freight Co-ordinator
- Attend monthly MBR meetings with freight forwarders
- Measure KPIs against 3PL
- Approve invoices and understand monthly spend vs budget
- Update the wider business regarding market intelligence for Freight
- Work closely with APAC and NA teams
Requirements
- A strong educational background
- Excel skills – Advanced (pivot tables, v look up etc)
- Problem solver
- Experience using an ERP system
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Inquisitive and keen to learn and develop
- Attention to detail
- Able to work to changing priorities and demands
- Able to demonstrate examples of building and improving internal and external relationships
- Previous experience in Freight/Logistics and Customs desirable
