About the role
- Fund Operations Officer ensuring integrity of financial transactions for Netwealth's Superannuation Master Fund. Managing reconciliations, compliance, and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliations of the Fund’s operating cash account and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate transaction recording in the general ledger and maintain audit documentation.
- Support member reporting and compliance with ATO standards (e.g., TBARs, MATS, MAAS).
- Prepare reconciliation and ad hoc reports for internal and external audits.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including automation opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with 1–2 years’ experience in reconciliation or fund accounting.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems.
- Experience with superannuation platforms and knowledge of ATO reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
