About the role

  • Financial Reporting Manager at the Aurora Group, handling statutory accounts and financial controls. Collaborating with stakeholders and managing assistant accountant responsibilities with an emphasis on process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare statutory accounts for 11 entities
  • Manage Assistant Financial Accountant
  • Prepare VAT submissions and oversee balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain and improve Unit 4 finance system
  • Liaise with auditors and tax advisors
  • Drive process improvements and financial controls

Requirements

  • Qualified chartered accountant (preferred)
  • Strong experience in statutory/management accounts
  • Advanced Excel and IT skills
  • Detail-oriented with strategic oversight
  • Confident communicator with senior stakeholders
  • Proactive and resilient under pressure
