About the role

  • Program Associate supporting the CCFLA team's urban climate finance initiatives at CPI. Collaborating with national and international partners to manage grants and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Support project management across CCFLA workstreams, including grant management, budget management, project controls, and reporting to funders and CCFLA members.
  • Draft and edit a range of internal and external written communications products including impact reports, emails, newsletters, memos, meeting and event summaries, PowerPoint presentations, and website/social media content.
  • Coordinate and organize external engagement events with CCFLA members and stakeholders, including Action Group meetings, webinars, and in-person events.
  • Lead implementation of CCFLA’s Gender Action Plan ensuring that gender is mainstreamed across CCFLA operations, activities and research.
  • Support in developing grant proposals for expanded CCFLA work.
  • Manage the CCFLA membership tracking by performing engagement analysis, managing CRM processes, and supporting on new member identification and onboarding.
  • Communicate and collaborate with CPI staff working around the globe, including analytical, operations, and communications team members.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality CCFLA analytical products, including policy briefs and reports; ensure outputs are delivered on time and on budget, including managing consultants working on projects.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in International Development/Affairs, Public Policy, Economics, Communications, Finance, Urban Planning (or related, relevant field) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrable professional experience delivering whole or part of a project or program, ideally in an international setting.
  • Demonstrable experience communicating complex topics to diverse stakeholder groups, including public and private sector actors.
  • Knowledge of the urban policy environment, finance, and/or key climate finance issues is highly desirable.
  • Experience of supporting development of project proposals and managing project budgets and reporting is highly desirable.
  • Experience of leading or contributing to impactful research products is highly desirable.
  • Written and spoken fluency in English is required; other language skills desirable.
