About the role
- Ensure client data quality and timeliness by monitoring and owning resolution of issues, often requiring multi-team collaboration
- Provide ongoing and transparent updates and dashboards to internal teams on client data quality
- Remediate issues via agreed manual overrides and drive long-term improvements to data feeds with internal teams
- Monitor client risk coverage for uncovered assets; own exception rules, communications, and analyse/model new assets
- Manage Private Asset Data (PMS/Investment Hub)
- Work with internal integrations and product teams to streamline processes and drive product improvements
- Document new and existing processes and contribute to continuous improvement of the team and workflows
- Understand investment positions and transactions data, ETL rules, and communicate issues clearly to stakeholders
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in Capital Markets, Fintech, Brokerage, or a related industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Strong understanding of portfolio management, investment strategies, and financial instruments
- Experience processing complex financial data to deliver actionable insights
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize and summarize detailed information
- Outcome oriented and a problem solver focused on client satisfaction
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Knowledge of asset valuation including private assets, bonds, derivatives, swaps, FX forwards, commodities, and equities
- Advanced Excel skills; intermediate knowledge of SQL and Excel VBA
- FRM/CFA certification or working towards (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work during UK business hours
