Perform planned maintenance, emergency corrective maintenance, upgrades, installation work, courtesy calls, and telephone support
Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic systems including HT and RF power generation, vacuum systems, water systems, pressurized gas systems, and mechanical assemblies
Ensure all work complies with Elekta’s safety instructions and procedures
Report any issues affecting product reliability or personnel safety to the Service Manager
Participate in training and assessments both in classrooms and on-site
Guide and assess other engineers and provide feedback to the Service Manager
Complete and submit relevant reports and documentation post-service
Work as part of the Order Fulfilment & Service Organization, travel as directed by the Regional Service Manager
Requirements
Minimum technical college or university degree in a related engineering discipline or equivalent
Competence in IT technologies including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and networking
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in a Medical Device service environment (experience with linear accelerators or brachytherapy systems is an advantage)
Proven ability to manage tasks independently
Demonstrable commitment to Elekta and assigned responsibilities
Valid Driving Licence
Proficiency in English & Romanian (written and spoken)
Willingness to travel throughout Romania and occasionally outside the country
