Responsibilities
Actively manage and expand our distribution network in southern Germany (postal code regions 7, 8, 9)
Use your networking skills to strengthen relationships with decision-makers at local, regional and national levels
Acquire new retail partners and ensure optimal distribution of our products
Conduct sales meetings and negotiations with retail decision-makers (e.g., specialist retailers, drugstores, supermarkets)
Regularly visit points of sale to ensure product visibility and availability
Train in-store sales staff on our products and their benefits for customers
Implement promotions and marketing activities to drive sales
Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize sales strategies
Requirements
Completed commercial/business qualification or equivalent
Strong field sales experience and retail background are core to your profile
Solid knowledge of the FMCG market in the DACH region
Experience in (pet) specialty retail or in selling consultative/technical products is a plus
Stay calm and composed even when things get hectic
Self-motivation plus strong time- and self-management skills come naturally to you
Fluent German, permanent residence in Germany, and willingness to travel frequently
