About the role

  • Manage student liaison, inbox communication, and event coordination to foster a positive community for program participants.
  • Assist social media team with content production and implementation of social strategy (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp).
  • Capture and edit photos, videos, b-roll, and testimonial content aligned with social media strategies.
  • Organize, deliver, and evaluate program events, including planning activities and hosting in-person meet-ups.
  • Provide Duty of Care by ensuring participant well-being and responding to emergencies.
  • Liaise with service providers to coordinate program-related services and ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle complaint escalation and customer service initiatives to resolve concerns.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to assess program success and identify improvements.
  • Represent university partnership team on-site when required and coordinate/host site visits.
  • Support administrative tasks and projects to ensure seamless program execution.

Requirements

  • Secured Right to Work in New York with the appropriate authorization to be employed within the state.
  • Residence or Ability to Commute to New York City to ensure reliable availability and on-the-ground presence.
  • Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills with fluency in both written and verbal English.
  • A Fun, Positive, Level-Headed, Social, and Engaging Personality.
  • Creativity to Curate Amazing Experiences and content.
  • Excellent social media skills, with an eye for aesthetics and a pulse on the latest trends.
  • Cultural Sensitivity to engage effectively with people from all backgrounds.
  • In-Depth Knowledge of New York with familiarity of the city’s attractions, neighborhoods, and cultural highlights.
  • Effective Improvisational and Conflict-Resolution Skills to handle unexpected challenges.
  • Independence, Responsiveness, and Professionalism at all times.
