About the role

  • Lead global medical strategy for cardiovascular programs, driving innovation and transformative evidence generation.
  • Co-develop integrated evidence plans and external education strategies with therapeutic area teams.
  • Shape early portfolio development through strategic partnerships across Development, US, and International Medical Affairs.
  • Represent Global Medical Affairs in high-impact internal and external forums, including regulatory and investment communities.
  • Ensure medical activities meet compliance standards and deliver measurable impact on clinical practice.
  • Provide expert input into reimbursement and market access strategies to support patient access.
  • Champion the voice of the patient in decision-making and evidence planning across the asset lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD preferred) or PhD/PharmD in Health Sciences
  • Solid experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven ability to think critically and navigate complex, uncertain environments independently
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus
  • Strategic mindset with strong influence across diverse stakeholders in a matrix organization
  • Demonstrated collaboration across functions and markets to co-create impactful solutions
  • Deep understanding of healthcare systems and external stakeholder dynamics
  • Strong delivery focus with a track record of executing high-quality medical affairs projects
