Support the entire fundraising and events team through administrative tasks and managing event preparation for in-person and virtual DGA fundraising events and policy conferences
Assist in the day-to-day operations of DGA’s fundraising programs by supporting the work of all members of the DGA fundraising and events team
Require frequent travel, including occasional weekend travel
Directly report to the Events Director
Requirements
A strong commitment to social justice and Democratic principles
Extraordinary attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Event organizing experience is a plus
Willingness to work long and non-traditional work hours, including weekends
A strong capacity to work both independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines
Familiarity with Cvent or other event management platforms is preferred but not required
Familiarity with MailChimp or other email marketing platforms is preferred but not required
