About the role

  • Support the entire fundraising and events team through administrative tasks and managing event preparation for in-person and virtual DGA fundraising events and policy conferences
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of DGA’s fundraising programs by supporting the work of all members of the DGA fundraising and events team
  • Require frequent travel, including occasional weekend travel
  • Directly report to the Events Director

Requirements

  • A strong commitment to social justice and Democratic principles
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Event organizing experience is a plus
  • Willingness to work long and non-traditional work hours, including weekends
  • A strong capacity to work both independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with Cvent or other event management platforms is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with MailChimp or other email marketing platforms is preferred but not required
