About the role
- Event Operations Lead at Blizzard driving the planning and execution of BlizzCon 2026. Collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful event delivery and stakeholder alignment.
Responsibilities
- Drive the planning, coordination, and delivery of BlizzCon 2026
- Orchestrate key aspects of the event lifecycle, from roadmap development to executive presentations and onsite execution
- Refine and maintain the master program roadmap for BlizzCon 2026, including key milestones, dependencies, and deliverables
- Partner with various teams to align on content strategy and ensure smooth delivery of attendee experience
- Prepare and present regular updates to senior leadership and facilitate decision-making forums
- Collaborate with finance and procurement to track spend and manage vendor performance
- Oversee onsite operations during BlizzCon 2026 and lead post-event debriefs
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in program management, event operations, or strategic execution roles
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with complex stakeholder landscapes
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including experience with executive audiences
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities; thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Experience in gaming, entertainment, or fan-facing events is a strong plus.
