Responsibilities
Plan, conduct, and document detailed and unbiased investigations into employee complaints and allegations
Gather relevant information, interview involved parties, and review pertinent documents and records
Ensure investigations comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies
Stay updated on relevant legal developments and industry best practices
Maintain accurate and confidential records of all investigations and employee relations matters
Interpret and apply company policies, procedures, and practices to ensure consistent and fair handling of employee relations matters
Provide guidance and advice to managers and employees on policy-related issues
Prepare clear, concise, and accurate investigative reports that summarize findings and provide recommendations for resolution
Present findings to senior management and other stakeholders as needed
Assist with training on employee relations topics, including workplace harassment, discrimination, and conflict resolution
Requirements
At least 7 years of relevant overall experience
At least 5 years of Employee Relations Investigations experience
Willingness to travel up to 10% (including plane travel)
