About the role
- Plan, conduct, and document detailed and unbiased investigations into employee complaints and allegations
- Gather relevant information, interview involved parties, and review pertinent documents and records
- Ensure investigations comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments and industry best practices
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all investigations and employee relations matters
- Interpret and apply company policies, procedures, and practices to ensure consistent and fair handling of employee relations matters
- Provide guidance and advice to managers and employees on policy-related issues
- Prepare clear, concise, and accurate investigative reports that summarize findings and provide recommendations for resolution
- Present findings to senior management and other stakeholders as needed
- Assist with training on employee relations topics, including workplace harassment, discrimination, and conflict resolution
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant overall experience
- At least 5 years of Employee Relations Investigations experience
- Willingness to travel up to 10% (including plane travel)
