About the role
- Embedded Software Systems Engineer supporting the product development phases of Insulet’s innovative wearable pump technology. Collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams and ensuring timely delivery of functional requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work with Software Engineers to drive the generation of Software Functional Requirements
- Lead cross-functional reviews and approval of Software Functional Requirements
- Document system hazards, failure modes, and risk mitigations
- Create and maintain traceability among design artifact
- Work closely with Agile teams to ensure timely deliverables
- Drive defect triaging and generate appropriate deliverables according to regulations
- Accomplish team goals by completing related tasks as required
Requirements
- BS in an Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, Software) discipline preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in technical design or Systems Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in working on technical design
- Domain expertise in Software or Electrical Engineering
- Understanding of Systems Engineering practices
- Excellent project team skills
- Ability to communicate at multiple levels of an organization
- Ability to organize and judge priorities in a dynamic environment
