Responsibilities
- The Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems in heterogeneous environments.
- System Design & Implementation: Design, develop, and implement system architectures that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and upgrades to ensure stability and security.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
- Manages and trades off performance, cost, schedule, risk and other system attributes to achieve an optimal solution.
- Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including technical specifications, configurations, and user manuals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required, or combination of experience and education.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field
- Active DoD Secret; Top Secret is preferred
- Strong knowledge of system design, integration, and architecture.
- Proficiency with Windows, Unix, and embedded operating systems.
- Experience with system security, data protection protocols, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in network infrastructure, cloud computing, and virtualization technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
