About the role

  • Systems Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems in aerospace and defense industry. Collaborating with teams to ensure efficient operations and optimal system performance.

Responsibilities

  • The Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems in heterogeneous environments.
  • System Design & Implementation: Design, develop, and implement system architectures that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and upgrades to ensure stability and security.
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
  • Manages and trades off performance, cost, schedule, risk and other system attributes to achieve an optimal solution.
  • Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including technical specifications, configurations, and user manuals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required, or combination of experience and education.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field
  • Active DoD Secret; Top Secret is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of system design, integration, and architecture.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Unix, and embedded operating systems.
  • Experience with system security, data protection protocols, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in network infrastructure, cloud computing, and virtualization technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
