About the role

  • Directly manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of digital project managers.
  • Oversee the intake, prioritization, and execution of the enterprise's digital project portfolio.
  • Establish and enforce a standardized project management framework, including best practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Develop and present clear and concise status reports, risk assessments, and performance metrics to executive leadership.
  • Manage the allocation of project management resources across the portfolio.
  • Implement a proactive risk management process for the portfolio.
  • Partner closely with platform owners, engineering leads, business analysts, and functional business leaders.
  • Oversee project-related vendor relationships, including the review of Statements of Work (SOWs), contract deliverables, and vendor performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading a Project Management Office (PMO) or a team of project managers in a technology or digital environment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing a portfolio of complex, large-scale digital projects from initiation to completion.
  • Expert-level knowledge of project and program management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and experience implementing these frameworks across an organization.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for a large portfolio.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills with a proven ability to develop talent.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and report at all levels of the organization, from project teams to the C-suite.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar).
