About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for land management solutions
- Manage a team of 1 to 3 staff
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Leadership Team
- Promote cross-functional collaboration on climate resilience and biodiversity
- Manage funding received and grants made
- Co-lead public outreach events and educational materials
- Actively track and apply for funding for conservation programs
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in related field
- Minimum of 10 years of successful experience in conservation practice or related field, preferably nonprofit
- Minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience
- Experience managing budgets, grant programs, and coordinating work of colleagues
- Experience in partnership development and project management
- Ability to work with agriculturalists and the agricultural community
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office
- Physical requirements including hiking and lifting
