About the role

  • Bridge the gap between forecasting demand, managing supply, and safeguarding product availability while controlling inventory costs
  • Work closely with Finance, NPD, Channel Leads, Marketing, Operations and external Suppliers to drive accurate demand visibility, support launches, and optimize supply chain flow
  • Drive best in class processes, behaviours across teams, metrics and reporting to ensure agility and industry-leading product availability
  • Build and maintain demand forecasts (rolling 12–18 month horizon) by SKU, by channel (DTC, Amazon, Retail & others) and by geo (UK & US)
  • Incorporate inputs from channel leads, marketing and NPD including promotions, NPI, seasonality, trends, and external market signals
  • Analyze past forecast performance, identify root causes of variances, and refine forecasting models; upskill colleagues
  • Fully understand the E2E supply chain for each product, focusing on lead times, risks and simplification/cost optimisation
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure supply plans are shared for long term capacity planning and early risk visibility
  • Balance procurement to optimise COGs versus availability
  • Set, monitor and own all demand and supply parameters in tools and systems
  • Manage inventory across 3PLs and other locations, owning reporting and actions to mitigate excess and aged stock risk
  • Coordinate forecast, PO placement and OTIF launch of new products within the SURI Gate Process
  • Manage product phase-in/phase-out and end-of-life planning to avoid business disruption
  • Define, track and report KPIs such as product availability, forecast accuracy (MAPE), bias, inventory turnover, excess and aged stock
  • Own IBP-related reporting, system maintenance and dashboards to enable proactive decision-making
  • Own product availability and out-of-stock risk communications for SURI

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role ideally within FMCG / beauty / personal care sectors. A deep understanding of supply chain & operations end to end ecosystems.
  • Successful track record of delivery in fast-paced scale‑ups / high growth businesses
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency with forecasting/statistical models and data/reporting
  • Excellent commercial awareness and the impact your role play in business growth
  • Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills with ability to influence all
  • Comfortable working with both high level strategic planning and detailed execution
