About the role

  • developing and managing teams including managing their delivery and performance
  • preparing and maintaining schedules for project activities and events
  • identifying, addressing and resolving differences between individuals and/or interest groups
  • maintaining definitions of the requirements of projects
  • developing and agreeing budgets for projects and controlling forecast and actual costs including production of financial reports
  • managing both internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of higher complexity projects, programmes or portfolios
  • acted as a primary point of contact for senior clients and sub-contracted 3rd parties
  • provided support, mentoring and assurance to projects at lower levels of complexity/size
  • identified business winning opportunities for new or extended work
  • coached and provided guidance to one or more Project Professionals or Senior Project Professionals
  • excellent stakeholder management experience is essential
