About the role

  • Create timetables and vehicle rotation/duty schedules based on conceptual planning and place orders for driving services
  • Develop concepts and perform economic assessments for special measures, e.g. detours for construction sites
  • Prepare and provide all relevant data on timetables, stops and vehicles both for internal systems that control buses and trains (operations control system) and for passengers via apps, displays and notices (passenger information system)
  • Lead IT-related projects as part of the digitalization of timetable management
  • Prepare the budget/business plan for timetable planning

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical/vocational training in the IT field or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in duty/service or timetable planning
  • Relevant experience in vehicle rotation/roster planning
  • Solid knowledge of the route network as well as timetable and connection relationships
  • Good IT skills
