Cybercrime incident response – communicating analysis of cyber threats to relevant parties to mitigate attacks
Classification of malicious websites, social media profiles, apps, emails, and phone numbers
Providing clear and professional feedback to customers on incidents and classifications
Sharing your ideas on how to improve processes and workflows
Report directly to a more senior member of the Technical Operations function and work closely with colleagues across different teams
Day-to-day involvement in the incident response team, finding innovative ways to rapidly disrupt cyber-attacks against clients
Requirements
Attention to detail, adaptability, and strong intellectual and commercial curiosity
A positive and solution-focused approach
Interest in the internet and cybercrime prevention
Excellent communication skills with a high standard of written English
Ability to engage with people in a friendly, helpful, and professional way
Self-motivation, ability to take initiative, and work as part of a team
Aptitude for analysing and using technical information
Competence in handling incoming phone calls
Some experience in cybersecurity is useful but not essential as full training will be provided
A degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, or any field that promotes analytical thinking may be beneficial but is not essential
