About the role

  • Ensure compliance regarding customs and export control laws and regulations in daily operations within areas of responsibility within a region
  • Transform data sources into measurable data
  • Process and integrate data into a database/data management system
  • Create dashboards for data utilization
  • Implement KPIs and report results to various teams
  • Manage data analysis tools and stay updated on new tools to optimize data analysis
  • Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college or university
  • 1 or more years working knowledge and practical application of US customs regulations
  • Knowledge of export control legislation (mainly European Union and United States), customs laws, origin of goods and preferential treatment, local laws and regulations preferred
  • Experience with SAP global trade services (GTS) module preferred
  • Licensed Customs Broker, HTS classification, USMCA qualification, and Value Reconciliation preferred
