About the role
- Corporate Counsel providing legal and business support at Concord Servicing, a technology-enabled credit administration firm. Negotiating agreements and managing compliance and risk.
Responsibilities
- Negotiating and drafting agreements for the company’s services and use of third-party vendors
- Provide strategic legal advice and support on key business decisions and transactions
- Supervise outside counsel’s activities and budget
- Handling consumer complaints, CFPB and agency issues, and litigation matters
- Providing advice and drafting policies and procedures for employment-related/HR matters

Requirements
- A current State Bar of Arizona law license, in good standing
- 2+ years of legal experience in a corporate legal department
- Experience representing clients in contract drafting and negotiations, and counseling clients on business transactions or financial services/banking
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in collaboration with legal and business partners worldwide
- Strong relationship-building skills
