About the role

  • Project managing strategically important content development projects at OUP, the world’s largest university press. Collaborating with authors and managing budgets for impactful educational products.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for project managing a portfolio of strategically important projects
  • Create products that maximize student outcomes
  • Collaborate with authors to enrich content
  • Manage budgets and costs
  • Maintain awareness of projected P & L during content development
  • Ensure project tracking systems are up to date
  • Design online questionnaires for market validation
  • Collaborate with marketing for product positioning
  • Identify and cultivate faculty advocates

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of effective project management
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work well on your own initiative and to be proactive in solving problems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • In-depth knowledge of Higher Education publishing
  • Understanding of learning design principles
  • Interest in editorial intervention to enhance content quality.
