Responsibilities
Leads the design and implementation of community grantmaking and investment strategy
Oversees the full lifecycle of community health investments
Ensures that grantmaking decisions are strategic, transparent, and aligned with organizational goals
Builds and sustains strong partnerships with community-based organizations, public agencies, and local leaders
Participates in the development of Sutter Health’s tri-annual Community Health Needs Assessment
Contributes to internal and external communications that highlight community health activities
Requirements
Bachelor's: Public Policy, Public Health or Public Administration, or a related field
8 years recent relevant experience
Must be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Significant understanding of community-based organizations and local and statewide Foundations and government agencies
Knowledge of public relations and event coordination
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction
Demonstrated ability to effectively work with executives and senior management teams
