About the role

  • Support the design and implementation of the department’s communication strategy, including social media management, newsletter creation, and website updates.
  • Develop and produce engaging content for the dissemination of EU-funded projects and AKMI International activities, in line with the European Commission’s visibility guidelines.
  • Manage and monitor social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to enhance visibility and reach.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement and communication with partners.
  • Support Project Managers in the implementation of dissemination and communication work packages (Dissemination Plans & Reports) of several projects.
  • Assist in the preparation and promotion of communication events (e.g. Info Days, conferences, multiplier events).
  • Carry out basic design and creative tasks (e.g. visuals for social media, presentations).
  • Support the overall implementation of EU-funded projects, including administrative tasks, reporting, and deliverable drafting.
  • Track and evaluate communication actions to improve their effectiveness.
  • Research and suggest new creative communication ideas to promote AKMI International’s work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, European Studies, or related fields
  • Excellent command of English (written and oral)
  • Strong writing and content creation skills
  • Good command of social media tools and platforms (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Basic graphic design and visual creation skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe tools, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with EU-funded projects and communication rules is a plus
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • A team player with creativity and a proactive attitude
