About the role

  • Support the secure architecture, design, and implementation of DoD systems in accordance with DoDI 8510.01, NIST SP 800-53, and other DoD security guidance
  • Design, create, maintain, and support cloud computing infrastructure
  • Deploy and debug cloud initiatives in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle
  • Build and design web services in the cloud and implement cloud-based platforms
  • Work closely with Cloud Architect, Solution Architects, Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Operations Engineering/Manager, and Government counterparts
  • Perform and manage cloud solution, cloud computing strategy and all associated documentation for the DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP)
  • Coordinate with DTP team to prioritize product backlogs for sprints and releases
  • Assist with monitoring & reporting technical variances and facilitate resolution of technical issues impacting product delivery
  • Assist with identifying and supporting external dependencies where needed
  • Most work conducted on-site at client locations in Bethesda, MD or Reston, VA; occasional remote tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience
  • Equivalent experience with 12+ years in systems engineering
  • 4 additional years in lieu of degree (experience accepted in place of degree)
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
  • Experience with Commercial Cloud Services (C2S)
  • Knowledge of classified environment’s security enclave
  • Experience with cloud-based services, preferably AWS
  • Experience with SecDevOps and CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience with cloud-based - specifically AWS - enterprise implementations
  • Experience working with Linux operating system
  • Knowledge of web services: API, REST
  • Strong awareness of networking and internet
  • Ability to work on-site at client locations in Bethesda, MD or Reston, VA (occasionally remote)
