Responsibilities
- Design a secure, cloud-based communications network to support mission-critical operations
- Help develop cloud-based solutions for challenges in satellite communications
- Lead your team in overcoming difficult challenges in the cloud

- Collaborate with migration teams to inform strategy and design
- Ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process
- Broaden skills in areas like automation and cloud-based security

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud-native applications using microservices, serverless functions, API gateways, and containers, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience designing and implementing computer and information networks such as LAN, WAN, intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks
- Experience performing network modeling, analysis, and planning
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline development with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
- Experience in server automation using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, network security, data encryption, vulnerability management, and security auditing
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems and 4+ years of experience in software engineering, or 9+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
