Claims Adjuster ensuring exceptional service for policyholders and brokers at CFC. Collaborating with multiple teams to enhance the claims process while delivering outstanding services.
Responsibilities
Ensure our claims department continues to deliver outstanding TPA services for capacity providers, always upholding Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Conduct Risk principles.
Proactively manage claims from first notification of loss to settlement, analysing coverage, legal liability, and quantum within delegated authorities.
Build strong relationships with policyholders, brokers, underwriters, and capacity providers—delivering a customer experience that sets us apart.
Guarantee prompt, accurate reserving, pursue third-party recoveries, and minimize claims leakage.
Identify and escalate key issues to the Emerging Risks Claims Manager and Claims Director as needed.
Support the Emerging Risks Claims Manager, Claims Director, and the wider claims team, collaborating closely with underwriters and providing valuable feedback on claims trends and product development.
Requirements
CII qualification (or working towards it)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A confident grasp of insurance policy wordings across multiple territories
Experience with ECF (a strong advantage)
