About the role

  • Change Manager driving employee adoption and implementing strategies for change initiatives at WGU. Ensuring projects meet objectives on time and budget while maximizing employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in ensuring projects meet objectives on time and budget by increasing employee adoption
  • Focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organization structures
  • Create and implement change management strategies and plans to maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance
  • Drive faster adoption and greater proficiency of changes impacting WGU employees and students
  • Support project teams in integrating change management activities into project plans
  • Assess change impacts of assigned projects and present action plans to executive sponsors

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution
  • Professional experience in roles requiring extensive Change Management skills in a large organization (5000+ employees)
  • Excellent understanding of Change Management theory/techniques
  • Ability to execute Prosci ADKAR Change Management for multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and software tools
  • Ability to become Prosci Change Manager certified within 3-6 months of employment
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
