Responsibilities
Home based (peripatetic role) with regular travel within a designated BDM field territory
Manage specific broker relationships within a geographical territory
Deliver excellent service through an effective business development strategy
Support the delivery of the Society's strategic mortgage lending plans
Requirements
Strong track record of achieving business goals and objectives
Experience of managing B2B relationships (ideally mortgage intermediaries)
Experience of identifying and developing successful new business relationships and opportunities
First class communication and presentation skills
Ability to self manage effectively
Strong negotiation, influencing and problem resolution skills
CeMAP or a similar mortgage qualification (advantageous but not essential)
Knowledge of the UK mortgage marketplace
Good knowledge of mortgage products and lending policies (advantageous but not essential)
