About the role

  • Business Development Analyst supporting federal business development efforts at Trilogy Innovations. Combining strategic research and operational coordination for effective business development.

Responsibilities

  • Research, analyze, track, and manage federal contract opportunities within our core competencies.
  • Research, analyze, and recommend target agencies, programs, and contract vehicles aligned with our core competencies.
  • Maintain Trilogy’s Business Development (BD) pipeline of qualified opportunities, request for information, white papers, and proposals to produce reports for leadership review.
  • Coordinate and support the development of data calls, white papers, and request for information.
  • Assist with drafting and editing corporate experience, resume, and proposal content.
  • Support development of capability statements and BD collateral tailored to target agencies.
  • Prepare executive briefing decks, meeting notes, reports, and marketing materials.
  • Support pursuit/capture planning and bid/no-bid decisions with data-driven insights.
  • Coordinate with the contracts team for the execution of all contractual documentation.
  • Manage team calendars, meeting schedules, and action item tracking.
  • Maintain relationships with industry partners and attend networking events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, public administration, political science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in federal business development, market analysis, proposal support, or capture support.
  • Experience with CRM tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI-based tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills.
  • Ability to evaluate opportunities, work within teams, and develop critical tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.
  • Occasional travel (estimated <10%) may be required to attend events and meetings, including travel to Washington, D.C., or partner/customer locations.
  • Team-first attitude with the ability to organize multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain a security clearance.
