Business Continuity Manager responsible for building an international Business Continuity Management framework. Engaging closely with European subsidiaries to ensure organizational resilience in critical situations.
Responsibilities
Build the BCM structure: You will develop an international Business Continuity framework and oversee its implementation across the European subsidiaries.
Establish standards & policies: You will define requirements, design processes and create consistent standards across the entire group.
Understand & assess risks: You will carry out risk and business impact analyses and derive concrete measures to protect business processes.
Develop incident and recovery plans: You will create practical plans, test them regularly and ensure they work in real emergency situations.
Support crisis management: You will assist the crisis team, coordinate measures and maintain oversight even in challenging situations.
Ensure effectiveness: You will plan and run exercises, review processes and continuously improve the BCM.
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in Business Continuity Management, ideally in an international environment
Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (e.g., BSI 200-4) and experience developing policies and processes
Analytical, structured thinking and a good understanding of risk management
Very good German and English skills and a confident manner when interacting with various stakeholders (both languages used daily)
