About the role
- Treasury Manager handling Funds Transfer Pricing and Interest Rate Risk in a hybrid role. Leading model risk documentation efforts for the banking book at Lloyds Banking Group.
Responsibilities
- Provide focused expertise to Group Corporate Treasury across Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB).
- Take ownership of reviewing, assessing, and enhancing model risk documentation for QRM and FTP Murex.
- Ensure these models meet the PRA’s Model Risk Management expectations (SS1/23).
- Strengthen governance, controls, and documentation for robust compliance.
- Collaborate with teams across the Group to build robust, detailed, and coherent documentation.
- Work closely with the Technology team to understand the system design associated with the models.
Requirements
- A solid understanding of Model Risk Management, particularly within a banking environment.
- Strong technical knowledge, with experience of reviewing quantitative risk or Treasury models.
- Familiarity with Treasury reporting and regulatory expectations.
- Excellent written communication skills, including across technical documentation, and an ability to translate complexity into simplicity.
- A proven track record of collaboration and stakeholder management.
- The ability to work independently and deliver at pace.
