Design and supervise provision of evidence-based mental health and behavioral services for children with autism and developmental disabilities
Conduct regular session visits for assigned caseload in home, school and/or other natural settings
Provide individualized parent education and in-field training to direct reports
Supervise implementation of treatment programs and behavioral support plans
Monitor completion of documentation including treatment plans, data sheets, behavioral support plans, progress reports and discharge reports
Maintain progress notes for supervision hours and input MLS/HLS supervision hours into billing program
Maintain up-to-date records of templates, forms and documents; write, sign and submit progress reports to funding sources by deadlines
Monitor daily direct service appointments for completion and manage cancellations
Meet daily and monthly billable hours goals as set by CSD
Provide clinical support, training, and evaluations for Clinical Leaders and Behavior Specialists; hold monthly 1:1s and team meetings
Facilitate and complete trainings as assigned and contribute to individualized clinical trainings
Supervise and guide staff on clinical processes including assessments, monthly session plans, lesson plan logs, clinical reports and data collection
Maintain regular communication with Human Resources and Regional Director regarding administrative concerns
Remain current on research, trends and developments; attend staff meetings, in-services and trainings
Perform additional job duties as assigned
Requirements
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, childhood development, childhood education, special education, pediatric therapy, or related field
BCBA Credential Required
Some related professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other related developmental disabilities in a multi-disciplinary team setting
Knowledgeable of methodologies including Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), TEACCH, PECS, and Pivotal Response Training (PRT)
Knowledgeable of School Continuum of Services and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Knowledgeable of other community resources and agencies that serve children
Sensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population
Able to travel to and work in multiple program service areas; reliable transportation needed (proof of valid driver license, current auto insurance identification card, and acceptable driving record per NIAC standards is required)
Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; bilingual ability preferred
Able to consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills
Able to exercise confidentiality and discretion pertaining to the work environment
Able to appropriately interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations
Knowledgeable and skilled in computer/word processing software
Physical requirements may include: constant visual stimulation, constant sitting, frequent up and down out of chair, constant use of telephone, constant document handling, frequent typing, occasional walking, occasional bending/reaching/stooping/pulling, occasional lifting/carrying up to 20 pounds, occasional driving
