About the role

• Desenvolvedor Back-end desenvolvendo soluções em PHP e Laravel na PX.Center. Foco em performance e segurança de sistemas web, colaboração em times e orientação a membros juniores.

Responsibilities

• Develop web systems in PHP using Laravel and Laravel Nova, focusing on performance and security;
• Maintain, update, and evolve existing code, fixing bugs and adding new features;
• Design and optimize relational database schemas (PostgreSQL) for efficiency and data integrity;
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs for integration with other systems and services;
• Write unit tests and perform debugging to ensure code quality;
• Apply security best practices to protect applications from vulnerabilities;
• Use Docker and Docker Compose for local and production development, and Laravel Nova for administrative pages;
• Actively participate in sprints and collaborate on team growth, providing guidance to junior/mid-level members;
• Propose continuous improvements to the development process, ensuring on-time deliveries;

Requirements

• Strong experience in back-end development, especially with PHP 7/8;
• Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs for system and service integration;
• Proficiency with version control using Git and platforms such as GitHub;
• Effective collaboration with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality experiences;
• Open to new technologies and tech stacks, with a curious and proactive attitude toward continuous learning;
• Knowledge of DevOps practices: configuring CI/CD pipelines, provisioning servers on AWS EC2, using Docker or Kubernetes;
• GitHub portfolio with personal projects or contributions to development/open-source communities;
• Familiarity with Eloquent, Laravel's ORM (Object-Relational Mapping);
