About the role

• Associate VP of Supplier Management leading the Enterprise Supplier Management Center of Excellence for Humana's supplier management transformation. Ensuring operational efficiency and deepening supplier partnerships for better business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing supplier management center of excellence that designs, deploys and governs enterprise standards for supplier management
• Manage the enterprise incident management process to adequately resolve and mitigate supplier incidences
• Serve as a key driver of our Supplier Management transformation, bringing in external best practices into the enterprise
• Drive enterprise relationship management for strategic suppliers
• Oversee third party risk management program, ensuring all aspects of supplier risk are addressed throughout the relationship lifecycle
• Govern and manage the financial due diligence process for the supply base
• Establish and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, automation, and metric-based governance
• Develop talent across the team , fostering a culture of performance, ownership, and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 10 plus years leading supplier management functions in complex, matrixed organizations, fostering a collaborative environment
• 10 plus years’ leading large-scale outsourced relationships in supplier management operations and third party risk management.
• Ability to analyze supplier operational / financial performance against company targets
• Adept at cross-functional collaboration and influencing without authority—particularly across business teams, supplier management teams, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Executive presence with excellent communication, executive stakeholder and supplier engagement skills.
• Proficiency in supporting Procurement with supplier negotiations to achieve favorable terms, particularly through resolution of supplier management challenges.
